True stability can only be found only in embracing the solid rock of our salvation, Jesus Christ himself, and Him alone. 

God’s covenant is offered, amazingly, not as a commitment to perfection, but to the honest, yearning, sometimes stumbling heart which hopes against all hope.

Isn’t it that sometimes health and wholeness, grace and new hope comes from the people one may overlook, or from the places one may dismiss for being non-places, or from simple gestures that are too easy to ignore?

God’s divine pursuit reveals the depth of divine love, a love that refuses to remain distant or detached, but it is always reaching out. 

If the Christmas story tells us something is that God is not afraid to come into the mess of our lives.

The idea of entering into a transactional relationship with God is deeply flawed, for we have nothing to bring that God doesn’t already have
