No good thing will the Lord withhold from those who walk with integrity.

God has joined us together in Jesus Christ.  We are his brothers and sisters.  We are God’s family.  We are God’s care and concern!

Here is the thing – our relationship with God and one another doesn’t depend on us but it is by God’s supreme choosing. 

It is not up to us, thanks be to God, to be chosen, but it is God’s loving choice to call whom He wants. He’s God, after all, isn’t He?
