The Good News is that though humanity hanged Jesus on Calvary’s Cross, in his unconditional love God in Jesus Christ has no problems in hanging out with us.

God’s covenant is offered, amazingly, not as a commitment to perfection, but to the honest, yearning, sometimes stumbling heart which hopes against all hope.

Isn’t it that sometimes health and wholeness, grace and new hope comes from the people one may overlook, or from the places one may dismiss for being non-places, or from simple gestures that are too easy to ignore?

Easter Morning invites us to dream big, to hope even larger, and look for a better deal from the hand of a loving Father.

The Good News of this Holy Week lies in its promise that even in the face of our flaws and failures, redemption is always within reach.

Lent is a time to draw closer to God, to seek His guidance, and to trust in His steadfast love and mercy.

Anyone who would like to know more about God, should follow the scent of mercy and truth, of justice and peace. 

God’s business, our business, the church’s business is to proclaim that God’s grace, love, and forgiving mercy.

Bringing hope into our lives is learning to see the broken kernel not as a sign of defeat but of new life.

Our Lord’s words are of lasting value. And, therefore, perhaps our Lord’s words should be taken seriously.

Hope is what springs the strength and courage we need to keep moving forward, even in the face of adversity.

Hope shines despite the circumstances, and even when there is no sign of progress. Hope is light in the midst of darkness.

Through any challenge that one might be called to go through, one should always remember that we will never be alone, for “God-is-with-us."

Hope is to trust in a God who will be present in the most stinking circumstances and will make rivers flow in the desert.
