The peace of which Jesus offers arises from a deep-seated assurance that God’s presence endures even in the midst of our doubts and fears.

God’s business, our business, the church’s business is to proclaim that God’s grace, love, and forgiving mercy.

And rising up, he rebuked the wind, and said to the sea: Peace, be still.

Jesus will say words of love, peace and wisdom to cheer you up – even when you may think that you cannot take it anymore.
